Our first hike of the year will take us to some magic views around Walchwil.

We meet at the chapel in the Oberdorf at 9:30 on Saturday the 17th May. I’ll be walking up via the train station at around 9:10 to pick up anyone who is unsure of the way to the Chapel. We walk north do the boundary of Walchwil and follow it up the hill through the woods to the Lienisberg. From there our walk takes us to the Zugerberg Station of the funicular. The total walking distance is aproximately 9 km with a rise of 400 m Elevation (3 1/2 h walking time) . (Follow the yellow paths close to my rough red line on the map.) We return to Walchwil using the funicular and the bus or train service. (approx. 1 hour / fr. 9.- or 4.50 depending on whether you have a half tax card.)
